Straight talk on
how this works.
You use the platform, you run analyses, you own the outputs. We provide the engine, the benchmarks, and the infrastructure. Credits are prepaid and non-refundable once consumed. Our outputs are indicative only — not investment advice, not a bankable feasibility study. If something breaks on our end, we'll fix it or refund the credit. We won't hide behind legal language when something goes wrong. That's the spirit of everything below.
By using preFeasibility — whether you’ve created an account or are running the free trial — you’re agreeing to these terms. “You” means you, the individual, or the organisation you’re acting on behalf of. “We” means preFeasibility
If you're using this on behalf of a company, you're representing that you have the authority to bind that company to these terms. If you don't have that authority, please don't use the platform on their behalf without checking first.
preFeasibility runs on a credit model. You buy credits, you spend them on tool runs. Here's exactly how it works:
Current credit pricing and tool costs:
Pricing may change. Existing unspent credits are always honoured at the rate they were purchased. We will give 30 days' notice before any price increase takes effect.
All outputs from preFeasibility are indicative only. They are pre-feasibility estimates, not investment-grade analysis. They are not a substitute for a professional feasibility study, a bankable financial model, an independent resource assessment, or legal or financial advice of any kind.
Output quality depends entirely on input quality. Regional defaults will give you a reasonable range for early-stage screening. Project-specific inputs will give you a firmer, more defensible number — but still a pre-feasibility number, not a final investment decision.
Do not make investment, financing, or procurement decisions based solely on preFeasibility outputs. Use them for what they are: a fast, rigorous, benchmark-anchored starting point.
Every output includes a permanent disclaimer stating its indicative nature. This is not legal hedging — it is accurate. We are explicit about the class of analysis each tool produces because we believe the people using it deserve to know exactly what they're working with.
The inputs you enter — site parameters, financial assumptions, project data — are yours. The outputs generated from those inputs are yours. We do not claim any ownership over your project data or the results you produce with it.
You can use outputs in internal reports, client presentations, board papers, or funding documents — subject to the disclaimer in the section above. When using outputs externally, we ask that you include the standard preFeasibility disclaimer that appears on every result. This is not a legal requirement we enforce; it's a professional courtesy to whoever receives the output.
For how we handle your personal data, see our Privacy Policy. The short version: we don't read your project inputs, we don't share them, and your data is yours.
The platform, the calculation engines, the benchmark datasets, the methodology, the interface, and the underlying code are ours. Using preFeasibility gives you the right to run analyses and use the outputs — it doesn't give you the right to copy, reverse-engineer, scrape, or redistribute the platform itself.
The benchmark data we use is sourced from IRENA, Lazard, BNEF, EMBER, and GlobalWindAtlas — all cited publicly in our Data Sources page. We have built on top of their published work; we don't claim to own it.
We trust you to use this professionally. A short list of things that would cause us to suspend an account:
If we suspend an account for misuse, unused credits are forfeited. We'll tell you why.
We will do our best to keep the platform running, the benchmarks current, and the calculations correct. If something breaks on our side — a tool returns a clearly wrong result due to a platform error, or a service outage prevents you from completing a run — we will either fix it or refund the credit. No argument needed.
What we cannot be responsible for: decisions you make based on our outputs. Pre-feasibility analysis is an input to a decision, not the decision itself. We are not liable for investment losses, project outcomes, or decisions made using preFeasibility results. This is true even if the result was technically accurate — the tool is a screening instrument, not a guarantee.
Our total liability to you in any circumstance is capped at the value of credits you have purchased in the 90 days prior to the event giving rise to the claim. This is a standard commercial limit, not an attempt to avoid responsibility for genuine platform failures.
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Chennai, India.
Trust us, we don't want any legal disputes either. Let's sit down and resolve over a call!
If we change something material — credit pricing, refund policy, liability limits — we will email registered users at least 30 days before the change takes effect, and update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the platform after that date means you accept the new terms.
We won't make silent changes. If you disagree with an update, you can request a refund of unspent credits before the change takes effect.
